Surfside Beach is the place to go to get away from
it all. This small, quaint beach community has convenience stores, a surf
shop, and local non-chain restaurants with great home cooked food and
small town prices. Miss Kitty’s Purple Cow serves up wicked cheeseburgers
and the Red Snapper Inn features home cooked entrees and some of the best
gumbo this side of New Orleans (featured in Texas Monthly Magazine for its
great food!).
